Greek Food Vs Indian Food: Which is Your Type?

We have had to settle for two, our two favorite cuisines! If you’re having a night out with friends, Greek, and Indian food can set the perfect backdrop for a social night in a few bars or a casino. Although this time you will need to cook yourself or order a good meal from the nearest Greek or Indian restaurant.

Greek Cuisine

You can supplement any of these dishes with a side portion of olives or dolmades to obtain a wide range of natural vitamins and fats necessary in a well-balanced diet. In addition, you can also opt for a bread-based dish such as a gyro or souvlaki.
Indian Food
According to estimates, India will soon become the world’s most populated country. India is renowned for some of the world’s most beautiful scenery; the vast amount of land the country covers means it is a breathtaking destination for tourism.
However, one aspect of India’s culture that isn’t overlooked is its fantastic cuisine. The food that has hailed from India has become a global export. Today, you can find Indian restaurants in every corner of the globe. Historians believe that the first curry originated in the region thousands of years ago.
It would be a total disservice to state that Indian cuisine comprises many spiced dishes. You can enjoy many spiced dishes, from mild to extra hot. You can also choose a wide selection of chicken, beef, or lamb additions. Traditionally, plenty of food from the region is vegetarian.
However, if you prefer cheese-based dishes, you can opt for several different types of paneer and different kinds of rice that complement them superbly. In addition, you can go for milder or hotter spices and dip your naan into them to scoop up the sauce! I don’t know about you, but I’m getting hungry.
Indian food is renowned for its rich mixture of spices and other ingredients. Starter dishes include vegetable or meat samosas or the classic onion bhaji. If you’re looking for a side dish to enjoy your curry with, you can opt for several variations of naan bread.

Drum roll, please! It’s so difficult to pick between these two. It’s like choosing between Nadal or Federer, Ali or Frazier or Ronaldo or Messi! We are going to choose Greek food by the smallest of margins. But, of course, you can easily argue for either of these cuisines.
Although Indian food contains many fantastic, spicy and flavorsome dishes, Greek food is slightly more rounded. Choosing between a mix of healthy salads, hot plates, and cold dishes gives Greece its spot at the top of the podium today.
It’s all subjective, of course. We aren’t saying this is the definitive answer to this question. Some of you will think we have this wrong, and many of you will agree. It all depends on what you prefer, and there isn’t a right or wrong answer to this question, and it was such a difficult choice to make. However, we have made our choice and are sticking to it.
