Since 1999, Jerry Bogedin has been the proud proprietor and operator of the successful restaurant Twigs Cafe, located in the Endless Mountains of Pennsylvania, United States of America. Jerry takes genuine pleasure in every step of the food service industry, from sourcing ingredients to creating meals to interacting with customers.
Jerry describes himself as “A passionate, confident, and innovative chef who loves menu planning, preparing memorable food, and leading a highly driven team of people to deliver amazing food to awesome customers.”
Before owning and managing a flourishing restaurant for almost 23 years, Jerry worked for Proctor and Gamble for 13 years as a Tech 6 in the Paper Making department, a level he achieved in under five years. Jerry is also a Nationally Certified Motorcycle Safety Instructor in Pennsylvania. From 2013 through 2018, he was the designated team leader across Pennsylvania. Jerry obtained an honorable discharge as an E-5 Operations Specialist from the United States Navy.
In his spare time, Jerry enjoys spending time with his giant shepherd, Layla, and studying the science behind producing edible mushrooms, many of which he uses in his chef-prepared dishes.
